Nusa Penida is getting more famous since people admiring Kelingking Beach (T-Rex Bay). However, there are many beaches with extraordinary beauty on the island of Nusa Penida. One of them is Diamond Beach Nusa Penida. As the name, Diamond Beach offers a view of cliffs with tapered shapes like a gem. A must for nature and beach lovers!

To cross to Nusa Penida Island from Bali Island, you can use a speed boat route from Sanur Beach to Banjar Nyuh, it might take approximately 30 minutes away. The best way to reach Diamond Beach is with a personal vehicle. You can rent a motorbike or a car in Banjar Nyuh. You only need  45 minutes away if you use a motorcycle to Diamond Beach from Banjar Nyuh Harbor. Diamond Beach Nusa Penida is located in the next of another beautiful beach known as Atuh Beach. Diamond Nusa Penida is a stunning hidden beach at the bottom of a sheer cliff on the east of Nusa Penida Island.

The locals resident help the visitors who want to enjoy the Diamond beach by cutting the karstic cliffs around the beach to make the stairway. This makes access to the beach available. So, visitors not only see the beauty of Diamond Beach from a distance anymore. Now tourists can easily to reach the beach in 20 meters from the parking lot, it might take approximately 15 - 30 minutes depending on your physical condition. Although the road to Diamond Beach is relatively safe. Along the way, stairs have ropes for people walking along the road. Especially, for children and parents, we recommend you not to go down because the stairs are quite heavy and risk for safety.

Arriving at the beach, our eyes are immediately spoiled with the stunning white beaches, clear turquoise water, limestone, palm trees, green tidal pools, and take a sunbathing at Diamond Beach Nusa Penida are definitely a dream of destination! Unfortunately, Diamond Beach is not allowed to swim. Each wave contains a lot of coral and stones which are quite risky if we hit it. Be careful with currents. This is still a new place that is unknown and there is no guide to help you in case you drowned there.

If you want to visit Diamond Beach, we recommend you to come in the morning because the Diamond Beach is closed at 6 PM. Besides, if you come in the morning, you might have plenty of time to enjoy it!
